Gotta Love It!
Okay so this year we are dedicating our spring and summer all to our garden. We have started potting seeds and some have even sprouted aleady! It is going to be a great garden and I cannot wait to be in the sunshine tending to it. Everyday I plan to wake up and head straight outside to weed and water it. I really want to put a lot of energy into it and have the best produce ever. Hopefully if things go well we can even sell some of it at the local farmers market. I love our town, we have farmers markets here and local artists sell their crafts there as well. So we have a great opportunity to become a part of this. selling foods and things we make like jewelery and photography, hopefully I can teach myself how to make clothes and quilt because that would be a big selling item too. Oh to become completely self sufficient, what a life! Better than having all the money in the world, really it is!

Hi Emily--hey I decided to start a quilt blog. Now let's see if I keep it up. I used to blog like 5 years ago when it was new and taught a blog class to LAUSD teachers. So, I know it's a lot of work to keep up. Love your blogskin. Anyway, do you quilt?
Oh, ooops. GloJoe is me, Nancy. It's in honor of Steve's mom Gloria that died in June and my brother Joe that died in September. Their presence in my life (no matter that they left too soon) has inspired me to be more creative. So, I'm back to sewing.
